Abstract
COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred in all countries in the world has severely limited space for entire world's population, without exception, Indonesia. This situation also has an impact on the education system in Indonesia, which was originally carried out offline, due to this pandemic, inevitably it has to be done online. Therefore, the role of parents has changed a lot, especially mothers, making them teachers of all subjects. So this Community Service activity provides training so that mothers can be more effective and efficient in assisting their children and grandchildren in learning English using an easy, fun and effective way, namely teaching English vocabulary along with its meaning and pronunciation using flashcards. Considering the educational background and occupation of the mothers in RT 83 RW 20 Baciro Yogyakarta, this training can be carried out and can be well received. This makes mothers more enthusiastic in providing assistance in learning English for their children and grandchildren who are studying in elementary school.
