Abstract
Industry competition forced efficiency in all production process. Engineering is one relevant area to increase of efficiency, using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineerig (CAE) for desigining new product are believing as ultimate choice. The aim of this research is to build an efficiency and more quality of bus structure frame. 3D model of this bus structire frame is using commercial application software CAD, and for simulating cirtual loading in this bus structure frame is using commercial application software CAE. The benefit of using CAD software is to build more robust, precision, efficient design, and reduce error in manufacture process. Simulation of static load, e.q. structure, seat, interior equipment, walling, passengers, and baggage weight on bus structure frame, are conducted using application commercial software CAE. The bus structure frame design result, consist of 450 parts, all integrated using welding joint, and simulation resultby commercial application CAE software shows that, maximum Von Misses stress in 6,290E02, and maximum displacement is 0,04444mm.
