Abstract

Universitas Duta Bangsa of Surakarta has a mission to produce students who are ready to become entrepreneurs. The development of digital business requires universities to be able to encourage students to be proactive in technology trends and able to read the latest business issues. E-commerce is a digital platform that is developing as a medium for online buying and selling in the community, which has practicality in finding the items that will be needed. However, for now there are still not many students who do not understand the strategies for using and the effectiveness of the benefits of online shops as income without disturbing lectures. Student Activity Units (UKM) can be an effective forum for supporting businesses that will be run by students. The development of information and communication technology can be used as a promising medium because its coverage is quite wide, does not recognize space and time, can be done anytime and anywhere. Therefore, this study reveals what strategies the university undertakes to support student online businesses.
